Fundraisers are an important part of keeping our agency financially healthy and meeting the requirements of our grant. Throughout the year we host a Trivia Night, Purse & Jewelry Sale, cinnamon roll and cheeseball sale. 

Our kitchen makes homemade cinnamon rolls several times a year. Watch our Facebook page and website for the announcement! Cinnamon Rolls must be pre-ordered and we close orders at 400. 

Our Trivia Night fundraiser is held the 3rd Friday in March. Not only can you count on a fun night of trivia and friendly competition, we serve you a full meal and homemade desserts. Terrific raffle prizes are on display and for the price of a raffle ticket could be yours. Everyone goes home with a door prize. 

Our Purse & Jewelry Sale is held in conjunction with Okawville’s Heritage Days and town wide yard sales, usually the second weekend in June. Our volunteer organizers spend the whole year scouting estate sales, thrift stores and yard sales for designer bags to feature. They spend countless hours sorting the many donations we receive to prep for this event.  The sale is held Friday, Saturday and Sunday is ½ Price Day. 

Our cheeseball sale is a long-held and highly anticipated tradition. Our kitchen, again, is the star of the show as they make close to 1,000 cheeseballs for the annual sale. Volunteers are instrumental in measuring, rolling and packaging. Orders are taken in November and December and we also sell at Okawville’s Christmas Stroll vendor and craft market the first weekend in December.
